Bunny Rabbit Cupcakes
This morning I finally got around to trying out the key lime cupcake recipe that I posted in my earlier blog. The recipe was super easy to make and the cream cheese frosting is everythiiiing, omg. Definitely try it out if you’re a beginner baker like myself, but still try it even if you aren’t.
Last night I went to Walmart to pick up a few ingredients and somehow I ended up in the Easter decor section lol, not very surprising huh? Of course I wanted to buy everything, but I’ve been trying my best to practice “crafting supply self-control” lately. I was so close to making it off the aisle without picking anything up, but then I saw a bunny rabbit cupcake kit. Did I buy it? absolutely.
I’ll do better next time (hopefully)……..
After making the cupcakes I carefully assembled each little bunny face. Even though they came out super cute, they were still missing a pop of color so I decided to cut up some of the leftover lime from the recipe and use the slices as extra garnish. I love how to the pink and green ended up complementing each other perfectly.
I’m really happy with how my first real try at baking turned out & it gave me motivation to start planning for my next sweet treat project.
If you have a fun recipe that you suggest I try, leave it in the comments below or shoot me an email & I’ll let you know how it turns out after I finish it.
Happy Easter everyone!
