DIY Makeup Brush Holders

I started my DIY makeup journey recently and this past week I started looking for ways to create a DIY vanity area in my room. I really want a space where I can sit and and take my time doing my makeup, but I also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars buying a table, chair and other miscellaneous items. The first thing I'm started with are these upcycled food cans turned into makeup brush holders. This project cost me $0 to make because I already had everything laying around at home and the holders literally look came from West Elm!

Materials: 🎨 ✂️

- Food can

- Scrapbook paper

- Spray paint

- Mod Podge

Steps: 📝

1. Spray paint the can your color of choice. (I chose gold because it looks really expensive in my opinion.)

2. Measure & cut the scrapbook paper to the size of the can. If you don't have scrapbook paper you can use cardstock or print your own pattern on regular printer paper.

3. Use Mod Podge to glue each end of the scrapbook paper to the can and done. ✌🏾

Hmmmmm, now I might go make another set of these for the pens & pencils in my office. 🤔 As always, tag me on social media @iambiancaoctavia and send me pictures of your craft if you make this at home!
