DIY Faux Caramel Apples
These DIY faux caramel apples are an easy fall craft that looks good enough to eat and I used corn cob bedding for the chopped nuts to make them look even more realistic!
Supplies:
Faux apples
Wooden craft sticks
Brown acrylic paint
Mod Podge
Corn cob bedding (for faux chopped nuts)
Parchment or wax paper

Steps:
Start with faux apples and remove any existing stems or tags.
Insert wooden craft sticks into the tops of the apples.
Apply the caramel mixture to your desired coverage—halfway, fully covered, or anywhere in between.
Allow some of the mixture to drip naturally down the sides for a realistic caramel-dipped look.
While still wet, sprinkle corn cob bedding over the caramel to mimic chopped nuts.
Place the apples on parchment or wax paper and allow them to dry completely.
Use hot glue to attach a bow to the wooden craft stick. (Optional)
Once dry, style them with your favorite fall décor!
